Based 30 minutes north of Montpellier, Canoë Rapido offers a descent by canoe-kayak of a wild and natural section of the river Herault – there are no roads or villages along the route. Its two courses are situated upstream from the famous medieval village of Saint Guilhem Le Desert and are never dry thanks to replenishment by the tributaries of the Vis and the Arre.
- The cliffs circuit (4 km) consists of a natural and beautiful, still water stretch where children over 4 can be brought with confidence.
- The classic descent (12 km) is a wilder course, though a succession of calm sections and small rapids. It requires 4 hours.
