A humble monastic retreat, then a powerful royal priory and a luxurious princely manor, the charms of the past still radiate from the benevolent coolness of its ancient stones. The visit takes in the ground floor of the chateau where you will discover medieval rooms, including: a herbalist shop and a medieval kitchen; 18th century lounges leading into one another; a 12th century roman priory church and gardens.
