DIO CASTLE

Located between Lodève and Bédarieux, the castle of Dio presents the powerful and austere character of a building of defense of the feudal age. Its imposing mass and its dominant position at the end of a fortified spur restore from the outside the idea that one is usually made of a medieval castle.
After 20 years of reconstruction and restoration, this listed historical monument from the 12th century is now available for private or professional events:
- The lower courtyard and its promenade (900 square metres): up to 260 seated people and 500 standing people
- The courtyard (130 square metres) : up to 125 seated people and 200 standing people
- The guard room (100 sqaure metres): up to 100 seated people and 120 standing people
- The old stables (125 square metres): up to 140 seated people and 250 standing people
- The cellars in succession (60 square metres): up to 60 seated people and 80 stand ing people
