The two youth hostels below are ideally located for exploring the Languedoc: one is located in Montpellier, a large fashionable city, the other is situated in Sète (25km from Montpellier), a beach holiday resort with an important fishing and leisure harbour. In both cases, the sea is not far away, and as for cultural events or sporting activities, the choice is endless.

 

A piece of advice: try both to really get to know the area: the towns, sea and countryside.
