Since 2005, the 'Grotte de Clamouse' is a site recognised by the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development for its scientific and aesthetic interest. In 2010, it was totally refitted with LED lightning, a first in an underground environment, and a way of protecting its exceptional wealth in deposits of aragonite and calcite which make it one of the most visited caves in France. All visits are guided and includes an introductory film about the geological netwok of Clamouse and the formation of its concretions.
Want an alternative to the classic tour? Test the Spéléopark 2 called 'Le Grand Frisson': one year after the opening of Spéléopark 1 called 'Emotion', Clamouse offers a sensational adventure in the depths of the earth. 500 metres where it is necessary to crawl in corroded galleries and to fly over subterranean abysses. A sports course halfway between climbing, caving and tree climbing.
