After 20 years of reconstruction and restoration, the castle of Dio presents the powerful and austere character of a building of defense of the feudal age. Its imposing mass and its dominant position at the end of a fortified spur, restore from the outside the idea that one is usually made of a medieval castle.
The visit of this 12th century historical monument is guided by a soundtrack that diffuses the historical and architectural elements of the monument during the passage in 7 stations. An educational model of the castle presents the architecture of the building at 3 eras: 12th century, 17th century and current time.
