tourist offices and information points | MEZE
'Nord Bassin de Thau' destination is composed of the towns and villages of Bouzigues, Loupian, Mèze, Montbazin, Poussan and Villeveyrac which are all situated in Languedoc, in the South of France, and surrounded by beautiful unspoilt and protected countryside.
The region is home to a large number of wine-growing estates which produce a wide range of wines for you to discover and sample, along with oysters from Bouzigues (or the Thau lagoon).
Lovers of old stonework, monuments and nature will be able to explore the typical narrow streets of the villages, the wine-growers' houses, the scented 'garrigue' scrubland and the scenic landscapes overlooking the Thau lagoon and the sparkling Mediterranean sea.
Barges on the Canal du Midi can stop off at the marinas in Mèze and Bouzigues for a welcome break.
